Short life, frequent release of chlorine/minerals
I bought this a year ago. The refrigerator uses a water dispenser. Water supply - fairly "clean" medium-pressure city water. The average usage is about a gallon per day. Very strong chlorine and/or other bad tasting "splashes" (some minerals?) are happening on many days lately. In my opinion, the membrane filters unevenly or there are deposits in some parts of the membrane that regularly come off. So some days it's ok, some days it's not. Unfortunately, the last two high performance, long life filters I bought had the same problem; much shorter lifespan than advertised.
