Last Christmas (2018) I bought my mother universal smart sockets. They were difficult to set up and when she changed her internet router we couldn't get her to reconnect for a long time. This Christmas (2019) I bought her these smart plugs. Wow what a difference. They were so easy to set up and the response time when I say the Alexa light is off seems instant. I bought these for Christmas (2019) for a colleague who has a Google Home and she commented on how easy they are to set up. She said she would get more of it. The quality of this brand is evident and worth the extra cost. I also have light switches in my bedroom so I can turn the light and fan on and off.
