Doubts about genuine B&D product. This item provides contact information for W Appliance Co. in New York, the Google ratings of shady warranty practices are not the highest. There was another reviewer here who posted a review saying he contacted B&D about this machine and B&D didn't even know they made washing machines. However, the washing machine itself copes with its task. It's big and takes a while to fill up with a heavy load. This is just the reality of the portable washing machine situation. The hoses are fine, but you can replace them with better ones in the future. It washes well and the spin cycle is efficient and relatively quiet as long as the washing machine is level. After about 10 washes I have a clicking noise from the drum, only time will tell if this will be a problem. Update #1 - 2 weeks later after changing it to 1 star it's getting louder and louder. . The machine is leveled but now the pump is very noisy and hums when turned on between cycles. Update #2 – My rating has changed from 1 star to 4; yes, the machine is still noisy, the glass cover on top is peeling off the frame, but I've owned it for almost a year now and wash 5-10 loads a week. It's still going strong. It rattles, creaks and buzzes, but does its job justice. I'm still giving one star for the questionable branding/warranty, but for now I've made money from it and it's still working out of warranty.
