When I tried it for the first time, I tried to cut an olive. The wires are broken. No, there wasn't a stone in the olive. I sent it back, got a replacement and tried to cut an egg with it. One of the wires stretched and became unusable. I tried another egg and one of the other wires broke completely. There should be 8 wires, and now I have 6 (three of which are now disconnected) after only 2 hard boiled eggs. It's now practically useless unless I need two double-thick egg slices every time I use it, assuming the other wires don't stretch or break either. I never thought that something so simple could be built so cheaply and break so easily.
