I ordered this key fob to replace a broken key fob for my 2017 Ford F150. The first key fob would not close, as many reviewers complained. I returned my keychain disappointed. Revane asked if they could send someone else to fix it and I agreed. During the shipping of the second fob, I noticed that my original fob had 2 CR2032 Li-Ion batteries installed from the factory. I noticed that there was a small sticker inside the original key fob that said "Replace with 2 CR2025 size lithium ion batteries". I did some research and found that each CR2032 battery is 3.0mm thick and CR2025 is 2.35mm thick, both have the same circumference of 19.85mm. When my second fob arrived I installed the thinner CR2025 and the fob fitted perfectly. So beware, the Ford factory fitted thicker CR2032 batteries, which violates their own recommended sizing guidelines. Be sure to put the correct batteries in and you won't have a problem snapping them in!
