The adapter is not well suited for short car tire valve stems like modern instrument stems. The fit is too tight/tight and the locking lever cannot be moved to the locking position when the adapter is pushed onto the valve stem, which is difficult in the first place. Upon removal, the seal immediately fell off. It is made of silicone rubber and is not durable enough for repeated or even more than one use. While the construction looks solid, it's overall too bulky to assemble. I would not recommend this product.
