Review on Godmorn Stovetop Espresso Maker Coffee by David Lusk

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Lift the coffee stand up with a magnet. lubricate threads.

The main problem I had was detaching the cup holder/filter from the base - it's so tight I couldn't even get my nails or a knife on it. I had to turn it upside down, which often resulted in spills. But I've tried using a super strong magnet (neodymium, can be any shape, I only have one disc) and it works great (see photo or video). The holder/filter is magnetic but the base is not such that it comes off easily, I can do this even when hot and I can then take the edges (careful when hot) and lift it up and then grab the filter spout, to turn him over his. down and reset territory. Another minor complaint is that it makes just under 2 cups of coffee. If I want 2 full cups, I have to overfill them a bit, just below the rim (above the pressure relief valve). I would have bought a larger size but couldn't find it at a reasonable price on Revain. But that's really a minor issue, it's close enough, I could either overfill a little, or just use more cream, or live with just under a full cup (about 90%). Also, it's a little tricky to screw in, so I lubricated the threaded screw with olive oil and it works great, making it easy to screw in and out. It takes 2 full turns to complete screwing in/out. These issues aside, it works great, easy to use and clean, makes delicious coffee, highly recommend.
