Larger than expected

Bought this as a Christmas present and was glad it was larger than I expected. I have a pot that can make espresso for two lattes, but this one seems to do twice as much. I was also glad it was stainless steel.

Good quality, easy to use

We drink a lot of coffee in this house. This espresso machine is great. I bought two! They are easy to clean, easy to assemble every day and of robust quality. I was curious to know the integrity of the materials as they were the cheaper option but the coffee brews quickly and there is no water splashing around the base like some other coffee makers do. I like to soak a cinnamon tea bag in a finished espresso. That gives it such great flavor. I've stopped adding sugar when I can add a cinnamon…

Disappointed :(: Stovetop espresso and mocha pots

Don't try to pour more water on the floor. an industrial electric espresso machine - this is a stovetop model, after all. Don't expect cream on it (I'll take one Nespresso machine if I want).. Don't freak out, just 1/2 turn and try until it leaks.. Third, the handle gets warmer than my Moka and the top lid is a bit stiff but still allows for a partial opening , while you know when all the water is done Fourth, the steel is thinner than the Italian 9 cup model I once had, but it ended up being…

  • Good assembly

  • No instructions

Lift the coffee stand up with a magnet. lubricate threads.

The main problem I had was detaching the cup holder/filter from the base - it's so tight I couldn't even get my nails or a knife on it. I had to turn it upside down, which often resulted in spills. But I've tried using a super strong magnet (neodymium, can be any shape, I only have one disc) and it works great (see photo or video). The holder/filter is magnetic but the base is not such that it comes off easily, I can do this even when hot and I can then take the edges (careful when hot) and…

DO NOT BUY! HEALTH HAZARD!

**DO NOT BUY** I was SO ready to fall in love with this espresso pot. Nice design, great price and the product description says "stainless steel" - hooray! I was SO excited to find an inexpensive aluminum free espresso maker (which poses a health risk associated with Alzheimer's). So imagine my dismay when I unscrewed the pot to inspect the parts and found that the water chamber at the bottom of the pot WAS COATED WITH A NON-STICK COATING! NO! The water chamber smells strongly of chemicals, so…
