DO NOT BUY! HEALTH HAZARD!

**DO NOT BUY** I was SO ready to fall in love with this espresso pot. Nice design, great price and the product description says "stainless steel" - hooray! I was SO excited to find an inexpensive aluminum free espresso maker (which poses a health risk associated with Alzheimer's). So imagine my dismay when I unscrewed the pot to inspect the parts and found that the water chamber at the bottom of the pot WAS COATED WITH A NON-STICK COATING! NO! The water chamber smells strongly of chemicals, so it is a very unstable non-stick coating. Worst draft. It's literally a recipe to poison your coffee and take in "forever chemicals" that your body can NEVER get rid of. Non-stick coatings are an EXTREME HEALTH HAZARD (google it or watch the movie Dark Waters if you don't believe me). The only way to safely use nonstick coatings when cooking is to cook on low to medium heat. Well the whole damn point of this pot is to BOIL WATER. There is no terrestrial reason to coat the inside of a stainless steel espresso pot with a non-stick coating, unless the inside of the pot is actually ALUMINUM and the stainless steel is purely for cosmetic purposes. I notice the aluminum around the gasket at the bottom of the decanter section, and the color of the inside of the water box leads me to believe it's actually non-stick aluminum. How perverse to coat aluminum with something even more dangerous to health! It is confusing. Non-stick coatings, or at least smelly (and therefore clearly chemically unstable) coatings like Godmorne's coating used in this pot should be banned internationally. If we lived in a just world, these highly carcinogenic coatings would have been banned by the WHO decades ago. Worse still, THERE IS NO CONNECTION whatsoever to the presence of aluminum or non-stick coating in the packaging, instructions. Manual or online product description. As far as I know, this is a deliberate misrepresentation. The only suspicion of a recognized health hazard is the fact that the instruction manual tells you to prepare not one, but three cups of espresso (yes, espresso, not just water or a vinegar solution as you might expect) and then throw them gone before you can drink coffee. GODMORN, *please* redesign this coffee pot. That nice looking pot poses a direct health hazard, just like it does now. Please use food grade stainless steel inside and outside. Avoid aluminum. And for heaven's sake say no to the non-stick coating. I hung my head in personal disappointment and general sadness for the entire world that the industry is so irresponsible. Most people who buy this will be following the instructions (or worse, ignoring them) and poisoning themselves on a daily basis, unaware of the dangers of aluminum and other coatings. What a world. Wrap it up and get your money back ASAP.
