I used this on my 2007 Chevy Impala, I liked it because the old muffler was rusted with holes and welded to the factory stem. I didn't want to spend $250 on a replacement that required welding, so I spent under $100 on this one that is flanged and requires no welding with a mounting handle. So I cut off the old muffler, put the new muffler in the exhaust pipe so the muffler flange attached the mounting handle, all in thirty minutes and I'm not a mechanic but almost two months and getting strong. The muffler is pretty good for a smooth ride and is perfect for my car model. Constructed from stainless steel it appears to be of good quality but the real test of how well it will stand the test of time remains to be seen. If you're looking for a cheaper way to replace your muffler and aren't afraid to get your car a little dirty to save money, this might be the way to go. hp Make sure you have the correct saw blade for cutting metal and ratchet tools to tighten the handle mount.
