Make sure the remote control cable is connected and allow time for charging.
In general everything is fine. Had problems with charging because disconnected the remote cable from the main unit, connected resistor and no digital display backlight, left for about 5 minutes, went back and connected the positive cable directly, then connected the remote and everything was fine. Normal operation 13.5 volts without amplifier operation 12.4 volt operation with full amplifier power. Have 1 Pioneer d-series monoblock pushing 2 12" Pioneer 350 rms. It originally didn't have light dimming and didn't really need a capacitor, it just needed one for looks. We'll see in a month if all ok is, I will post another review.
