cheap but beautiful!
I took a free dressing table, sanded and varnished, stained the surface and used these rods as a spare - I did it! You can't get a screw to hold them very tight, but they are tight enough. For that reason I probably wouldn't use them for something I open regularly or multiple times a day, but rather to spice up the look of something? Absolutely.
