I'm so glad I found this set! The patterns are amazing and everything you need is in the box. After reading some of the comments I was concerned about the instructions but they are very easy to follow! Yes, the hoops are plastic, but I'm glad because they interlock and you don't have to worry about the fabric coming loose (and bamboo hoops are very cheap if you want to frame them in bamboo later). watching some YouTube videos because I couldn't thread the needle! (But after discovering the thumb/index finger/beeswax combination, I had no more problems). When I first opened the package, I wondered why there was a tiny pair of scissors in there. but the ones in the set perfect for cutting the thread at a 45 degree angle for threading the needle! If you've been wanting to try embroidery for a long time, this is a great place to start. I am very impressed with how neat and organized the materials and instructions are!
