average quality low-discharge NiMH batteries
These batteries are advertised as "super capacity", but 800mAh is average compared to other brands of AAA NiMH batteries. The batteries appear to have more seams than US brands; hopefully they will not leak. NiMH batteries are usually more leak-resistant than alkaline batteries. Performance-wise, these work about the same as other low-discharge NiMH batteries that I own, at least now while they are new.
- Reduces the need to keep a stock of disposable batteries
- The batteries do not hold a charge for long periods of time
