I wish I had bought one sooner. This thing saves lives and allows you to accurately determine. I used the shaft to determine the height of the retaining walls around my yard and helped lay the first row of the block retaining wall I was building. Within 1/8 at 30 feet! The only wish was that the green laser versions would be cheaper as I would order them for all the external use. Red is difficult to see before dawn or dusk.
