At first I really liked it for my newborn girl. Until one day, without going to the pediatrician's office, she didn't say what bedding is acceptable for a child. This lounger is not suitable for newborns. My pediatrician explained that the sides of the lounge chair are too high and that her breath can hit her face as it inhales and exhales and something in her brain can decide it's okay to continue sleeping and she can die of SIDS. That was the last time I used it and my baby was only 2 weeks old at the time. I find it very child friendly but after that the information was shared. I didn't want anything more to do with a sun lounger.
