I would have switched to this much sooner if I had known how much better it is than plastic. When I opened the box it looked intimidatingly large, but when I use it I see advantages in its size. I no longer have a floor full of cat litter that has to be cleaned daily from over-enthusiasm. The tray is big and high enough to hold the trash and it stays clean. It holds twice as much dirt and isn't sticky at all. If you have space for it, I highly recommend it. I hope the finish keeps its smooth quality and will comment on that later. I only bought for my smallest cat because it's expensive, but I plan to buy two more for three others as soon as my budget allows. That saves work.
