I'm very happy with this camera for the price! High image and video quality. The sound is ok, but I use a separate external microphone. It's not without flaws, but for the price I'll live with that. Pros: The image quality for photos and videos is excellent. The color fastness is good. The zoom works well, allowing you to capture just your face or a wider shot of an entire room. Good thing. Bad: The shutter doesn't turn off the camera, it just blocks the lens. There is no real switch on this camera. The only way to turn it off is to unplug it. This is a minor annoyance and there are several ways to deal with it (disable, install a USB hub with switches, etc.). It also gets a little warm with prolonged use. Nothing fancy, and that's common with webcams of this nature, but if you left it on all the time, it would be hot all the time, and that would probably shorten its lifespan.
