Mine arrived all fine, no rips or tears. Hooray! As other people have pointed out, the glass is a little uneven, but it's intended to hold liquid, not decorate the Taj Mahal. Also, they cost about $2.33 each. Of course they won't be perfect. If you want perfection, you have to be prepared to pay a lot more. I'm not sure how durable they are yet. Being glass I don't want to drop them on hard objects to test that aspect. But they survived shipping, so I'm guessing they'll at least survive water, juice, tea, etc. They're also pretty easy to clean if you have one of those bottle brushes. They also seem to be sealed so far. For less than three dollars a bottle, I'm satisfied.
