Admittedly, my gray parrot is a picky guy, but he just completely ignores those tangles of fibers. He usually likes things he can rip like my wife's arm, but he didn't show any interest. I hung one in his cage about a week ago and he's still intact. I don't understand why they don't come with hangers, I use thin wire that usually holds the corn pieces by the cob. It's hard to imagine an owner putting one of these on the floor of the cage considering how dirty the birds are. There were high hopes but no positive results - I might try peanut buttering one to see if it sparks interest. Unfortunately not recommended.
