Review on Infrared Thermometer Extech IRT25 - 12:1 with Audible Alarm by Dan Cramer

This is the second Extech I have ordered in 3 years. I now wanted to buy a new one as I felt the first one was about to break suddenly. Unfortunately, while this 2017 handset looks the same as the previous one, save for the exterior color, the drop in quality was immediately felt due to the overall weight and feel of the buttons. No wonder, then, that the red aiming laser stopped working completely after only 3 days and the screen began to flicker noticeably with almost every second measurement. All in all I will continue to use the old one until I find a better replacement for the brand's IR thermometer as these new Extechs are just poor quality, period.
