Effective bathroom cleaner

I'm tired of buying liquid toilet cleaners that "stick" to the sides of the bowl and need to disinfect. There is no brand I have used that actually does this. They are too watery for that. This comet says it doesn't scratch and stays where it's placed until rubbed off. Bleach is the best disinfectant for this job.
