I bought these *hoping* that they were made from regular polypropylene non-woven material as the material content on the list is rather vague. But later it turned out that the seller also has all the white bags made of rPET material. So initially I wasn't sure which ones I got as I'm not familiar with rPET and the packs I got were heavier than I expected. However, I did some research and can now say I am confident that I received NWPP bags. The fabric is a bit thicker and more water resistant than the other NWPP bags I have, but the others I have have colors and logos on them, so the process may have changed their outer texture a bit. I wanted either white or a neutral light color (not printed anywhere) and that's exactly what it is. I washed them in the sink (my washing machine has a stirrer and I didn't want to risk ruining them) in warm but not hot water with some regular detergent and then put them in the dryer (no dryer sheets/fabric softener). ) - I used wool dryer balls for a short time (20 minutes max) on low heat and the fabric came out perfectly fine and already mostly dry. They weren't really dirty - I did this just in case they had any germs or chemicals on them, although they didn't smell and still didn't give off the slightest smell of the detergent I used. I have NOT taken them to the store yet so I can't vouch for how much weight they can hold, but a quick hard twist of the fabric showed no signs of tearing and the seams are lined up and sewn evenly so it most likely will tear. endure some abuse. I am happy with this purchase.
