Cool idea... but it showed up with a dented screen, non-working front right channel, useless external mic, Chinese menu and no response from their support email . I'll leave this here for a while to see if this gets a response from them. I don't recommend yet. UPDATE: I thought my unit might be defective so Revain sent me a replacement unit. The same problems. I noticed that my right speakers aren't working, it's not the device so don't pay attention. The second device still suffered from the microphone not working (it was VERY quiet) even after adjusting all the settings, even the ones written in Chinese (gain control and echo control). I finally got an email from their support team outside of Revain suggesting replacing the resistor on the motherboard. They asked if I was an engineer! Now I can solder with no problems - lucky but it was a very small SMD and it required some setup to solder the SMD ie macro camera, tiny gun, tools etc. I can't do that. I was then promised a 3rd device directly by them which should have an "updated circuitry" to solve this problem. Well, it's finally here (we've got a few months at the moment) and it's a bit better mic-wise. Also, I had to position the mic RIGHT over my head. But I still have to raise my voice significantly to make calls, which is good in a pinch but not very convenient. Oh, the 3rd "last" device had a cracked LCD screen. Half was blurry. I have to say my initial goal for this head unit was for making phone calls, but then I saw devices that can do that PLUS play an Apple Car so I figured why not? Well, for a car game, it works. I do not know why. Tried everything, re-pairing etc. It connects fine, sees the phone but does NOT play in car unless you leave the device off for a few minutes. It's a very dumb unit with no autoplay, so you're basically going to have nothing if you don't pull it off. One cheat worked: while driving and if you get stuck in this state, hold the power button and turn it off. Keep driving and after about 5-10m it will magically turn on again and the carplay will work. Super weird. Also be careful, they gave me the firmware "try" but it didn't work. It recognizes the file on the USB drive but reboots and nothing, black screen. What attracted me to this device: wireless carplay, an extended microphone and the presence of a real volume control instead of buttons. Maybe postpone and wait for the next iteration.
