I've had it for a little less than 2 weeks and it's already not working properly. I'm driving and suddenly CarPlay turns off and goes to the radio. When I try to call people, they can't hear me and I can't hear them (and yes, the mic is plugged in properly). It's just very frustrating. Everyone keeps posting about it needing an update but I have no idea how to update it.

When connecting my iPhone 11 Pro Max, CarPlay kept crashing and going back to the launchpad screen. I contacted support who advised me to update iOS to the latest version 13.3.1 and now everything works as expected. The touchscreen is responsive and the buttons don't feel cheap. This is an inexpensive CarPlay deck. I'm deducting a star because the installation guide wasn't very clear (you can see it in the product description).

Looks pretty solid. Worked for several hours, then hung while updating the background. The missing documentation prevented a reset or restart. Even turning off the entire device didn't turn off the receiver so it was sent back for a different model. Maybe it's a coincidence. Aside from that, it looked and sounded great while running. Good radio for the price. Bought this specifically for Apple CarPlay (although it says Auto Play on the radio). I also like the selectable LED lighting to match the dash lights and the ability to display the car manufacturer's logo on the screen when the car is on, although I found that not all car brands are listed on the radio. Possibility to add a rear camera. There were no mounting hardware included so it gets 4 stars out of 5 but I still recommend this unit.

I really think this is probably one of the best suggestions to upgrade an old stereo to support Carplay. I don't have an Android device, so I can't report Android Auto Support. I took the chance to get this device from another brand. I used to buy Pioneer, Kenwood and Alpine. My friend wanted to play Tacoma in her old Toyota. I found it and dared it. Cool idea... but it showed up with a dented screen, non-working front right channel, useless external mic, Chinese menu and no response from their support email .
