Although this is a 10 cup bowl, you cannot fill it above the level of the blades to avoid spilling. The lid is not sealed, so any liquid that gets on the lid when you open it will just squirt out! I called Hamilton Beach and they said that while it wasn't listed on the box or in the ad, it was in the booklet that came with it. Also, the bowl scraper, which I thought was a handy feature, only goes to the top of the blades. So if you can only fill it there, it's completely useless. They will not do an exchange or refund, they just advised me to buy another product from them instead. It's not going to happen!
