Before I say anything, I just want to say: I really have no idea about it. You might want to ignore this mediocre review once you read it. Or maybe you just want to move on to the next review from someone who doesn't upfront admit they don't really know anything. Nonetheless. He appears to be doing his job removing the bearings from the wheels on the skates. But I could only get it to work on wheels with no spacers between the bearings. Before this product arrived I used a screw to remove the bearings from the wheels I bought and when I replaced them I didn't put the spacer back in a couple of them because I was curious what the difference was it would do. . When this tool arrived and I tried it, I found that it worked great for wheels without spacers and apparently had nothing to do with wheels with spacers. With a spacer in the wheel, I just couldn't get the balls on this puller to catch. I'm too inexperienced with it to know if this is normal or if I just don't know how to use it properly. Maybe this tool will do the job and I'm too new to know how to do it. Is it normal that this tool only works with bearings without a lantern? If so, then I believe my 3 star rating is unfair because I rated it to an unfair standard. Again: I don't know about skate wheels and have no experience with them. I recently purchased wheels and bearings for a dolly project. Maybe you prefer listening to people playing skateboard or roller derby.
