For me it's the looks; for the husband - weight and comfort.
The chain was slightly thicker than stated on the website for the size I ordered. I just cleaned the medal I attached to the chain so he only wore it about 3 days. I thought he might pinch his skin or get caught in his hair because of the distance between the links of the chain, but so far that hasn't happened. I hope the chain stays shiny and doesn't go flat. The jury is still out on durability as he has a religious medal hanging on a chain so won't take it off often. It's too early to tell. Husband says he loves it.
