Review on πŸ“ Vega Berry Protein Smoothie: Vegan, Keto-Friendly, Gluten-Free & Non-GMO Plant-Based Protein Powder by Shawn Sanders

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Without milk, soy, egg; dissolves most easily in a blender

I love it. I need extra protein because I'm exclusively breastfeeding and I'll lose an awful lot of weight quickly (like I did with my first child) if I don't supplement with extra meals. Protein drinks help when I don't feel like eating anymore. However, I can not milk products - and it's not just because of a lactose intolerance. I can't eat casein unless I have excessive discharge from both ends and hives. So this rules out about 80% of the protein powders on the market that normally contain whey. I also developed egg intolerance after having my first child. That's why I only drink vegan protein powders. I tried Vega All-In-One protein powder but had to stop drinking it because it contains maca root which gives me huge cystic acne. So it's the only thing I drink and it's delicious. It's really quick to do. In the mornings, I mix chocolate powder with Hawaiian spirulina powder, 1/2 avocado, and flaxseed milk in Majic Bullet. If I don't have time to blend at home, I just put the powder and almond milk in a blender jar and blend on the way to the subway. This powder is the smoothest and most easily soluble protein powder I have ever purchased. It tastes sweet so no additional sugar is needed.
