This rail is easy to get in and out of the bathtub. However, our tub isn't straight from the end of the faucet to the back. The interior is slightly curved, and where the slat should point towards the back of the tub, the side wall of the tub also varies in width. This makes it difficult to securely attach the crossbar as it is designed for a perfectly flat side of the bathtub. Probably most don't. Either way, it's useful, but if force is applied to it during use, it can slip out of the way after a few uses. So you have to reinstall it every time and tighten the screw that holds it in place. After 7 months of use, the bolt started to rust.
