Good. YOU CANNOT RETURN IT!

Well I tried to get it back but couldn't. I came in a box with an Amazon box. When I opened the box on Amazon, the packaging was torn. I took out the item and it turned out to be in use. The upholstery was scratched like the thing had been tried on and then sent back. I washed it, disinfected it and started walking around the bathroom. That works great. My only annoyance is that I paid for a new one and got a used one. Attention buyers, you cannot return it

Also works when the tub rim folds inwards

I was concerned that this would work as my tub is old, very wide and folds inwards as you can see in the photo. I'm glad it's holding a lot tighter than my old pen. He feels absolutely safe. It has also expanded to 6 inches which my bathtub needs. I wasn't sure if it would happen, but it did. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the handle is smooth metal and a wet handle can easily slip off. I'm thinking about adding some exciting material.

Sturdy and easy to install

We asked this before my elderly parents visited. While they're usually quite stable people, the bathroom seems like an accident just waiting to happen. After considering various options, I decided on this device. He's pretty strong and solid. Installation took about 30 seconds and easily conformed to the shape of our tub. During their visit, both commented on how comfortable the handle was to use and how it helped them get in and out of the shower. Overall I would say this was a great purchase.

Made for a perfectly straight bathtub wall

This rail is easy to get in and out of the bathtub. However, our tub isn't straight from the end of the faucet to the back. The interior is slightly curved, and where the slat should point towards the back of the tub, the side wall of the tub also varies in width. This makes it difficult to securely attach the crossbar as it is designed for a perfectly flat side of the bathtub. Probably most don't. Either way, it's useful, but if force is applied to it during use, it can slip out of the way…

Solid .Jackson! the best in medical supplies and equipment

Solid. I thought it was plastic. NO! Steel with a good rubber surface and a damn good screw clamp. Very reliable. Just tighten it until the surfaces are "flush". they may/should be slightly distorted. And not on the "curve" at the end of the tub. The price is worth it. looks like a boot pad or something. This baby isn't going anywhere, of course a steel tub is better. LIKELY required. I actually saw a review that said a fiberglass bathtub cracks - I'm pretty sure that's true. Especially when…

Excellent as a bath additive. Not ideal for tall people

I'm 6'1" and bought this to bathe my daughter. It's hard to carry around. and out of the tub with my back and knee problems. It is perfect as a support to transition from kneeling to standing when carrying a load. It is extremely durable. It is listed with a 250 lb limit but it can support me (310 lbs) and 30 more at that no problem. The only downside is that it's not big enough to be used as a support to get in and out of the shower while standing. I only mention this because I was hoping to…

Perfect, with a small correction.

All metal components are top quality and very durable. We bought this for my grandfather to help him get out of the bath but when I tested it I was very impressed with how durable everything is. I'm a tall guy (6ft 2in, 240lbs) and I have faith in this device's ability to help me stand up when I need to. come into contact with the bathroom. The foam helps hold the tub in place without scratching or damaging the tub. BUT, when you then fill the air with spa steam, the adhesive holding those foam
