Perfect, with a small correction.

All metal components are top quality and very durable. We bought this for my grandfather to help him get out of the bath but when I tested it I was very impressed with how durable everything is. I'm a tall guy (6ft 2in, 240lbs) and I have faith in this device's ability to help me stand up when I need to. come into contact with the bathroom. The foam helps hold the tub in place without scratching or damaging the tub. BUT, when you then fill the air with spa steam, the adhesive holding those foam pads to the unit will start to stick and loosen. Before you know it, the unit has "climbed" the edge of the tub wall, leaving behind the foam pads and not remotely secure. I've tried different glues to try to stop it with conflicting results (Edit: I'm talking about sticking foam pads back onto the unit, not the tub. There is absolutely no glue on the tub and the whole unit can be completely removed from the Bad to be removed, nothing left, just loosen the clamp/vise, which is done by hand without tools.) After many experiments, I finally found a glue that did the job: Gorilla Glue. I removed the foam pads from the device and scraped off the excess adhesive (using a small amount of Goo-Off). Then apply some Gorilla Glue and follow the instructions (don't forget to activate it with water). Knowing that the Gorilla Glue would foam up and spread throughout the room, I placed a couple of large books (we didn't mind if they went bad) between the device's "claws/vices" and some sheets of paper Kitchen paper between the unit and the books (to prevent it from sticking too much to the books and requiring a whole different cleaning project). After everything was finally installed, I removed the books and paper towel, trimmed off some of the excess, and then reattached the unit to the tub. That was over a year ago, and it hasn't moved an inch (literally, I check it often; it's about grandpa safety). Gorilla Glue solves this problem well. And once you apply this little workaround, it's a really great product that has exceeded my expectations. I would definitely buy it again if I needed another one. (UPDATE: It's been almost two and a half years since I bought this handrail, used the Gorilla Glue Fix and last installed it; and it still works perfectly. I haven't had to reinstall or even re-tighten the clamp/vise connector. No rust or other signs of use.Overall this product works great and I have absolutely nothing to complain about. It's still solid as I'm very impressed with the quality of this product and would have no hesitation in buying it again if I ever needed one again. ) I monitor my reviews and if you have any questions, please feel free to comment on my review and I will respond (may take a few days).
