I'm 6'1" and bought this to bathe my daughter. It's hard to carry around. and out of the tub with my back and knee problems. It is perfect as a support to transition from kneeling to standing when carrying a load. It is extremely durable. It is listed with a 250 lb limit but it can support me (310 lbs) and 30 more at that no problem. The only downside is that it's not big enough to be used as a support to get in and out of the shower while standing. I only mention this because I was hoping to use it. and for this purpose. It will most likely fit anyone 5'8" tall or smaller. But I'm a few inches short of support when fully standing and have to lean a lot to use it like this, so I was disappointed. seems very successful.
