Review on Energy Suspension 3 1111G Torque Bushing by Sammie Rodriguez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Just what my Firebird needs

I have an '88 Pontiac Firebird Trans AM (GTA). A few months ago I heard metal on metal when shifting gears. When I crawled under the car to investigate, I found that the factory bushing on the torque arm was virtually missing due to normal wear and tear. I found and ordered this replacement from Revain. It got here quickly and I installed it right away. Problem solved. Since installation I haven't heard a single metallic noise. I am very satisfied with the quality of this item. It's made of urethane rubber and should last longer than the factory bushing. The factory socket naturally lasted 25 years, so I can't complain too loudly about that. eight-)

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Boring packaging
