Energy Suspension 3 1111G Torque Bushing Review

I bought this for my 1985 Firebird SE and it was quick and easy to install. No need to take it to the mechanic if you have the right tools! The noise the car was making was gone and it held up well! quality piece!

. Hard gas impact removed directly at the rear, no more rattling. Hats off. Needed an assistant to tighten the screws, the bushing was definitely tight and I couldn't slide it into the bracket by myself.

Bulletproof design. Just make sure you grind down all the rivets and completely remove the old bushings and steel supports. Once it's done, just oil it up and put it on. Replace the clamp and you're done.

This torque arm bushing fits the standard torque arm and fits into the gripper bracket after removing the factory rubber inserts. My advice is to take off the transmission cross member and factory transmission mount, pull out the clamshell and rotate it down, then you can take the torque off. Many Thanks.

This item arrived but not as described. Not sure if Energy Suspension had a faulty batch or was mislabeled. I did some thorough research and ordered the correct part number, which is also on the tag, but note the large hole in the center of the bushing. I hope the replacement part is the part I need.

I have an '88 Pontiac Firebird Trans AM (GTA). A few months ago I heard metal on metal when shifting gears.
