Review on Dell WD19 130W Docking Station (featuring 90W Power Delivery) with USB-C, HDMI, Dual DisplayPort in Black by Samuel Blakeley

I bought this product to use with my Dell laptop for home use. I've found it connects easily to two Dell external displays I bought and also to my laptop. However, after using the product for about five months, I started having problems with the fan. While the device is cool, well-ventilated, and away from other objects, the fan turns on intermittently, and at the Dash's top speed, it's quite loud and annoying -- and runs for a while. This happens dozens of times throughout the day which is frustrating and annoying. I have searched the Dell website and other websites for a solution to this problem. I updated the device software as recommended by Dell Customer Support. It didn't change the problem at all. Reading online about other users' experiences with a similar problem, it turned out that Dell doesn't have a solution and this is a bad batch. I would never buy this product again.
