Review on ๐Ÿšด Cygolite Dash Pro โ€“ 600 Lumen Bike Light: Versatile Modes, Compact and Durable, Water Resistant โ€“ Perfect for Aero Road & Commuter Bicycles by Ryan Carter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Words cannot describe how bright the CygoLite 450 is.

The CygoLite dazzles! I have been using a 5 LED Planet Bike Beamer but bought this CygoLite for an upcoming ride that is mostly on regular roads. Without a doubt it is much brighter. But I knew there would be a compromise between flashlights that use AA or AAA batteries and flashlights that use rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. I have attached some photos showing the difference between Beamer 5-LED and CygoLite in its 3 main settings (low, medium, high). CygoLite on the right. (Photo taken in a dark room 6ft from the wall). Love the flexible strap, it makes it easy to move the CygoLite between bikes. Some notice that the light is still moving too much. I was able to get a tighter fit on the bike by adding some thickness. I just cut one of these: http://www.amazon.com/Wrapping-Exercise-MacBooks-Replacements-Silicone/dp/B00IFMBL9Y. I'll take the projector with me anyway - it's more than adequate for trails and sidewalks - and it's comfortable. I don't have to remember to plug it in. But if I really want to be seen, all I have to do is charge CygoLite. Here is the expected run time on the back of the box: ------------------------------------------- --- ------- ------- ----------------------- ------Night Mode - High - 1:15 Night Mode - Medium - 3: 12:00 AM Night Mode - Low - 12:00 PM Night Mode - Constant Pulse - 3:30 AM Day Mode - Quad DRL Steady - 10:00 AM Day Mode - Quad DRL Flashing - 70:00 <- -I use this for TrailsDaytime - Daylight - 9:00 <--I use this for roads
