First lets start by saying I am a new grower and have absolutely zero experience with grow lights. I got two of these lights on a recommendation from a friend (and a lot of research). I am not a professional light reviewer or paid buy anybody. I am growing CBD hemp outdoors ( not pot). When we started planting this year i topped several of the really big plants to help with there growth. ( and to start a mother crop) I used these tops as clones and after they started sprouting roots they were transplanted into 3 gallon pots. When i transplanted i mixed Mir Grow as directed and planted in a standard potting soil mix. I did not use any fancy fertilizers, just MG ( it always did good in my garden) I did not have sunlight enough to keep them in 18/6 schedule so i decided to put them under these lights to help growth and to see how the lights do. I did not measure PAR readings or footprint or any thing else. I simply put them under the two lights ( the area was probably about 4 x 7 total with the lights at 24 inches from the plants. The plants started at about 5-8 inches in height when they went under. After 2 weeks under the lights the growth is nothing short of amazing. i now have plants that are over two feet tall with no stopping in sight. I am in awe of how fast these plants took off after such a short time. I could start cutting clones off most of them if i wanted to. I wish i could figure a way to use these in an greenhouse environment. For the price point this light is in a league by itself. I could not be happier.
