I purchase three of these lights over a period of the last year. I can talk about them, since I have progressed through several crops using them. Out of the three lights I purchase, failed within the first year. The quality control is poor. One of the lights I hung, made a noise because the cooling fan was striking something it shouldn't. This noise eventually went away, over the period of about three weeks. About five months into my first usage, the first light failed. One of the three banks of leds just stopped working. I contacted the company, and we reached a fair settlement. The lights are guaranteed for 2 years. The company let me keep the faulty light and shipped me a new light. So far so good. Approximately two months ago, after let's say, 8 months of usage, the second like failed. Same thing. One of the bagnl of LEDs stopped working. I contacted the company and they told me they would like to send me a power supply and I could replace and fix the light myself. They admitted that they had trouble with a power supply and had recalled many lights, but after the lights were sold, the recall was more difficult. I complaind to them that I did not feel that they were meeting their responsibilities, and they should repair the light, not me. After some haggling, the company agreed to ship me a new light if I would return the faulty light, I did so and have just received the faulty light replacement. The company met their responsibilities, but it required a little bit of haggling on my part. Again the light is plenty bright, the build seems to be good, the design is good, and even with one set of LEDs out, the light provides plenty of light for my plants. I'm leaving one of the faulty lights hanging. However, the quality control surely needs Improvement. When a lights guaranteed for two years, and two of them fail within the first year something is not right. Buy at your own risk, with knowledge of poor quality control ongoing issues.
