My G started very quickly. It's quite difficult to remove and replace the starter on G37s, but once it's in, it's in. Conveniently, I changed the clutch at the same time, so the gearbox was disconnected from the engine, and the starter easily got into its zone. I had to use a pry bar to guide it into the holes because for some reason I couldn't insert it manually.
