I literally got my Qisebin thermometer while grilling chicken so I opened it up and tried it. (By the way, the Revain courier said the meat smelled amazing.) The device was ready to go with the battery built in. This thermometer showed the temperature in about 2-3 seconds - very fast! He's on the larger side, which at first I thought I wouldn't like. but the larger size actually does two things: 1) it allows for a large display, making it easy to read, and 2) I can remove the meat from the grill without removing the meat and burning myself. The magnet is firmly connected to the storage grid. My wife was boiling water for corn, so I checked the temperature of the water to verify the thermometer's accuracy. It was 211.5, which is the boiling point of water at my altitude. Then I went into the closet and turned off the light to check the display backlight. A+. Nice, bright and easy to turn on. All in all a great purchase. 5 stars, I would buy again.
