My wife was looking for something to take her laptop and other accessories to school. She used to carry a cloth bag, but this option seemed good to her. It has some unique features that make it very useful. First, it stands on its own as it has a frame that allows her to put it anywhere and easily load and unload it. The large outer pocket has magnetic closures that are easy to open and close, yet remain easily closed. The side pockets have elastic straps that make it easy to carry a large water bottle. There is only one zipper to access the inside which is nice. Inside there are several pockets, some with zippers, some with velcro and others open. This makes it easier to organize and store things, including her laptop. This backpack holds a lot of things. You can carry it on top or as a backpack with the nice handles. She usually carries it as a bag for short trips, but uses it as a backpack for longer trips. She really likes this backpack.
