So far, so good! in Computers and Accessories

I'm using this on a 2018 13" Mac Pro. I have nothing to do. It plugs straight into two USB-C ports and I was able to use the USB scanner right away No problems so far. It feels solid and high quality and has a good range of ports. Multiple USB ports as well as HDMI and even C instead of the two you just added with the adapter. One too if needed Micro SD card reader. In general, it works great. The cost is about $30, which is probably in line with average prices.
