Better than the best door hardware and locks
They are better than plastic. The plastic pieces need to go over the spline a few times, these only need to go through once or twice depending on how hard you push. The only thing that would be negative is that you have to be careful when pressing down, if it jumps off the spline you can cut the screen. So allow yourself an extra screen in case this happens and you need to use a new piece.
