Hello, I bought this coffee pot as a gift for my wife in May 2018. The lower part started to rust, inside and out, see photo, after about half a year of use. Judging by some of Minos' answers, it was very well made in China. I contacted Amazon customer service about the rusting issue and they suggested contacting the manufacturer directly as the item is still under warranty. It's been about a month since I emailed Minos Living. No Answer. So I'm wondering if the steel used by those who make these items in China is food grade. This is very disappointing to say the least. This is an expensive espresso pot and should not be rusted. It is unacceptable that a manufacturer does not respond and claim that their products are of such high quality. Please don't buy this. Food grade stainless steel should not rust.
