I'm using this splitter to extend my laptop's HDMI output via a Cat6 copper ethernet cable to a projector in front of the church, a TV screen in the background (eg choir or as a teleprompter) and use the HDMI output for a PC monitor facing the pastor for a total of three screens. I project at 1920 x 1080 with no problem, and I clip video with no problem (but don't use it for audio as I feed it to our sound system). I've been using it for 6 months with no problems. The IR remote allows me to turn on video devices (screen blanking, etc.) and control them from my seat, which is a great feature. My ethernet cables are about 75 feet long each. I am using OpenLP for a project. Update July 2019: One year later and still great
