It works! DVI to HDMI Adapter

I bought this system to take the signal from my cable box and send it to 2 TVs in my basement which are in different rooms condition. I used 75ft Cat7 cable. I tested the system before running the cables and it worked great. But you must use good cables. For testing, I tried using an old ethernet cable I had lying around and it didn't work at all. But with Cat 7 it works fine. Also, the sensors allow me to use the remote in both rooms, which is great because I have a treadmill in front of the…

Just what I needed on DVI-HDMI adapter

This item should be used as a meeting venue. I had two short throw projectors and wanted a TV monitor next to me, and that's exactly what I wanted. GoFanco and use cat5e but Cat6 is what you want to use as instructed. That being said, I started using cat5e (black) and one of the short throw projectors was 80 feet away and worked with no issues. The red 5e coil (100ft) started cycling on and off after a few hours so we got the 50ft coil 6 and there was no problem after that. You could use 100ft…

Works great in our three screen church

I'm using this splitter to extend my laptop's HDMI output via a Cat6 copper ethernet cable to a projector in front of the church, a TV screen in the background (eg choir or as a teleprompter) and use the HDMI output for a PC monitor facing the pastor for a total of three screens. I project at 1920 x 1080 with no problem, and I clip video with no problem (but don't use it for audio as I feed it to our sound system). I've been using it for 6 months with no problems. The IR remote allows me to…

Demanding performance but seems to hold up after work

Take a look at one such product with a grain of salt. HDMI handshakes done through such a device, over ethernet, etc. are notoriously finicky. There are so many places between TVs, HDMI cables, Ethernet cables, remote units, and junction boxes that problems can arise. I was able to get this to work, so it's not complete overkill, but it's finicky every time I turn it on. There is no volume on a TV, but there is a picture. Other TVs seem to have been fine after changing cables several times…

Very impressive, picture and build quality seems great

Having tried a few other similar products without success this one was a pleasant surprise. It just worked right out of the box with the default settings. I just had to make sure the computer's HDMI output was set to 1024 and working with the default switch setting. So far it only works with one extended monitor, but I have no doubt that the second monitor works just as well. The HDMI pass - they call it loop - is a huge plus for a 'local' monitor. I'm using 100ft STP (Shielded Twisted Pair)…

Works well with Category 6 cables and short Category 5e cables

This is great for sending digital signage from a chrome box to two digital displays in portrait mode. Cat6 was used in the wall to the central data closet. I originally had a Blackbird 4k 1x4 from Monoprice (although I only needed 2 outputs). It was very buggy. One screen works 50% of the time and the other barely works (blinking, glitchy, black screen). I replaced it with this GoFanco unit and a 1ft shielded Cat6a cable from the outlet to this one and it worked great. Inside the data closet, a
