The first thing I noticed was that 99% of the other reviews on this robe didn't mention the size. So first let me say that while my order link points to a very large one, I was sent a LARGE (42-44 chest) which turned out to be PERFECT. I'm 6'1", weigh 190 pounds, 38" waist, average build. The L size has a very generous left to right crossed (overlapping) fabric at the waist and is perfect for the shoulders. the impression/illusion that it is slightly larger than the size indicates. The length, while not quite "calf length", is about 3-4 inches below the knees, so it's technically between the knee and the back of the calf in terms of length, which I personally prefer. The overall feel of a highly absorbent and luxurious spa robe. It should be noted that this robe is probably best suited for the colder months and can be a bit heavy for the warmer months. My decision was to purchase a lighter bathrobe separately for the summer months. Overall this is a fantastic bathrobe and this purchase ended years of searching for something of real quality and comfort.
