I have two very large children (almost 10 pounds each) and my pelvic floor is not what it used to be. Light incontinence gets worse, so while looking around I read that Ben Wa/Chinese Health/kegel balls can help without resorting to drugs with unwanted side effects. So I looked at the different types of baoding balls and decided on the silicone coated ones with rope first. I've had some success with them but found them to be too big and not heavy enough to progress further so I decided to give them a try. It's definitely a completely different game compared to silicone coated ones. It's a lot harder on the Kegel muscles because they're sleek and smooth, they're MUCH heavier and there's nothing holding them together. Although I really like all these qualities a lot. I like that I can only do one, or one heavy and one light, or two smaller ones. This set is highly customizable. And the fact that they are heavy and smooth makes them difficult to hold. You definitely need to work on using them. It is recommended to only use it for a short time and increase it gradually. I started leaving them on for 10 minutes a day and after using them for a week I definitely saw more improvement than the other set I had. My incontinence problems are already improving and I just use a small ball. It doesn't "ring" like some steel balls, it's just a solid steel ball made specifically for health. I am very happy with this purchase and I think it is excellent value for money. The size is great, the weight is right, they are easy to adjust to suit the user's needs in terms of weight and number of balls used, and they appear to be very well made, with a nice carry/storage bag. **I received this set at a discounted price in exchange for my honest and unbiased review, but my cost has absolutely no impact on my review of the product. **
