I like this product but it lacks security. If you're buying this because you don't need anything that uses outbound connections, this isn't for you. Helpdesk can connect to your cameras if you provide them with the UID and password of the camera or NVR. I didn't like that, so I started blocking connections. That's when I found out that it doesn't send push notifications over LAN or WiFi. He sends them over the internet. I blocked outgoing connections and the push notifications stopped. Safety aside, which is very important to me, the product is good and much better than the flicker system I had. If you have a firewall that allows you to work with granularity, you can probably block some of them for specific sources and destinations.
